It's Time for Carson Baseball!

This past Saturday was Carson's first baseball game. Sadly he is not on the Dodgers, he is on the Rockies (but there are worse teams). But before we actually talk about the game, we need to backup to Friday.

Carson has a pretty good coach and they had scheduled one last practice Friday afternoon. Coming home Friday evening Carson was still pretty geared up for his game the next day. The kid is too cute; we had to watch the movie The Rookie (with Dennis Quaid) because he was so excited about his upcoming game. Thankfully our full day of activity wore him out enough for him to konk-out and get a good night's sleep.

Then Saturday morning. I come down the stairs at 6:30am to find Carson playing Wii. (He does that sometimes and we have to hide the WiiMotes). What is he playing? Wii Sport - Baseball of course. Then he looks up at me and says: "Daddy, I have to practice my swing" :) And now for the pictures ...

Nice form, son.

Ohhh, a tad late. Foul ball.

**I'm going to score, I'm going to score**

Playing a solid 1st base in the first inning.

Where's the ball? Follow his eyes. Ball meet bat.

In the second inning Carson got to play catcher.

Playing catcher wasn't as glamorous as the special gear made it seem. (Open your eyes son)
