On Saturday, April 17, Carson participated in Riverside's Tot Olympics! He compared his day to a BIG playground and loved every minute of it. After every event he wanted to do it again despite the 90 degree weather. He ran, jumped, and threw as mommy and grandparents cheered him on while Daddy coached on the sidelines. He ran the 25 yard dash, raced across a balance beam and through tunnels, shot a basketball (which he tried to dunk), threw softballs for distance, flipped on the mat, attempted a long jump, and played some tee ball. When it was all over he had rosy cheeks, a bright smile, a bag of orange slices and blue ribbon to show for it.
(He had a great nap that afternoon!)
