Camping with Daddy

Daddy and Carson left Good Friday morning to have a "boys night away." They camped in a tent, explored, roasted marshmallows, and did all sorts of creative play! Carson's favorite part was making the fire. He was so excited about roasting marshmallows before he left, but he only had one! Mommy would have eaten half the bag! ;-) Greg was glad he brought extra clothes because by 6:30 Friday night - Carson was in his 3rd outfit after slipping into the creek twice. Greg also learned another important detail about having a wife and mommy: they pack napkins, wipes, and tissues! Carson said they just used their shirts when they got dirty! I was sure glad to be home in a warm, clean, soft bed that night! ;-)

Here are some pictures from their day and evening stay in the mountains.

How fun! Good job, Greg. Except for the part of not having anything to clean up with ;)

Bet you can't wait to take Cassidy for her first pedicure! Mommy-Daughter dates are the best. :)
